    Default Oh, April . . . This one's for YOU!!

    Al and I went to a quilt show this morning, the Missouri Valley Quilt Show in Savannah, MO. This is a show that is sponsored by the Senior Citizen group in Savannah - they invite members of the local guilds and anyone who quilts to participate. There were several quilts there made by members of the quilt guild that I belong to. Categories were 1) Wall Hangings, 2) Baby Quilts, 3) Appliques, 4) Machine Quilting, 5) Hand Quilting, and 6) Other. This was in the Applique section and it was also all hand quilted and hand appliqued. I don't know why my personal photographer didn't get the whole quilt, but he did take this picture just for you . . .

    I have always loved iris. That is a beautiful block. I hope that someday I can do something that beautiful. Thank you Sandy for sharing this with us.
