    Default Today's tut

I think today's tut can be nice but I will never make anything with cuddle fabric . I made a scarf for my granddaughter and I had lint all over my sewing room and I said I would never make anything like that again. One thing nice about the fabric is that it is very soft and cuddly. Good luck to anyone that wants to make it.

That would drive me crazy with my allergies. Even regular batting and flannel get to me big time!

It is messy and hard to sew. Makes me shudder to think of making a whole quilt out of it, no matter how soft it is!

The vacuum trick that Jenny suggested might help keep the fluff from spreading too much. But I don't know that I'll be trying that particular quilt. Might try it for a backing.

I made a scarf... out of pre cut strips I won. Enough for me.

Not my cuppa tea. Minky and similar fabrics are a nightmare to work with and make the worst messes.

Not my cuppa tea either! I watched this tut late last night when it first posted and knew right away I wouldn't be making anything. Did you notice Jenny sniffing and rubbing her nose often? No telling how much lint and fuzz she inhaled working with that stuff!

I have used the Minky for baby quilt backing - I don't mind it for that but it is rather slippery and messy - I don't think I would make that quilt in the tutorial either - its just too messy.

I used minky on the back of Ryan's pillow. I also have sitting upstairs some of that rosette cuddle for a scarf but after I saw the mess when she cut it, I'm thinking I'll take it up to the lake and cut and sew it on the deck this summer!!
