I am guessing large would be 10 inch, next would be 5inch, then 2.5 inch.

Those would have to be finished sizes. To cut the squares with seam allowances it would have to be 10.5", 5.5" and 3 inches.

You could make them any size squares, Lorie, as long as each square was half the next biggest one plus 1/2 inch.

    12.5, 6.5, 3.5
    10.5, 5.5, 3
    8.5, 4.5, 2.5

Thanks Karen! I was trying to get to a lap size. This helps so much!

That is such a cool quilt! Putting it on my 'in the future' list.

Did you zoom into the quilting? I bought a quilting bar that would work perfect for it. I think I will try a QAYG on this one, All that turning would be hard I think.

I don't know what a quilting bar is. Do you do any FMQ? This is doable with a FM foot and going over some of the previous stitching. I do like the effect of the quilting.

Very cool quilt. The quilting is very nice - love how they left the center of the large squares unquilted.

It's for your walking foot and measures how far apart you want to stitch.
