    Sidetrack! I'm thinking that would look really cool if another row where added (and perhaps another column) to make a rainbow (reds on the first, orange on the 2nd, etc.) using different tone on tone fabrics, keeping the pattern of breaking down the blocks as you go. Or maybe it could be reversed in a mirror image on the diagonal? I really like this, it has the wheels turning in my head!

    Based on the size of the clothes pins, I'd say the largest block is either 10 (finished) if those are 3" pins, or 12 (finished) if those are 3.5" pins. They look like longer pins, so I'd guess the largest block is 12" (finished).
