    Default Brother VX 691

    Hi

This is the machine that I will be able to lend from my sister.

Is there any one that have experience of this machine and could get my some pointers ?

I am very interested to see if I can use it as a fmq machine.

It is called Brother VX 691. Sorry for the blurry picture.

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Annika, I don't have knowledge of this particular Brother machine, however, I did fine a .pdf of the users manual. I do use my Brother to FMQ, and it does a very nice job with that technique. More foot/hand coordination, and getting used to the machine itself, as I'm sure you already know. It looks like you have a little larger harp space than the newer Brothers, mine is only 5.5 inches, but does well with the QAYG method, which I prefer. Good luck, and hope this helped in some fashion.
Don't worry if plan A fails, there are 25 more letters in the alphabet!!

    Thank you!

I will dive in to the pdf and check it out.

It will be at least 2 weeks before I can get my hands on the machine and I want to learn as much as possible during the waiting time.

    Thanks
