I placed an order with KQ Saturday a week ago, priority mail. It's still not here yet and that includes not in today's mail either, which already came. I called them they said it's "in process" and didn't know when it would arrive. The day after I ordered from KQ (Sunday) I placed an order with Fat Quarter Shop, priority mail, and it arrived on Wed, 3 days ago, same shipping method. Is KQ always this slow--and not very helpful when you call?
I have never ordered from them but will watch this thread. They have some beautiful patterns and kits and someday I will probably order from them but it would be good to know how long it takes to receive an order.
It's a roll of the dice - I've had both very quick service and extremely slow service from them. It took 3 weeks once for a fabric order-no communication from them at all. Other times only a week. I like their kits and have ordered several but I would never order from them if time was important.

I have ordered from them quite a few times. I have never had a problem. Sometimes seems to take longer than others, but always very helpful and they have quality items.

Yes. Placed first order on Jan. 2 and rec'd it about mid-January. I, too, had wondered if something may have happened to the shipment, but then it soon arrived. Despite the apparent delay, I was extremely satisfied with the quality of my products.
I have ordered from them before with no problems.Do you know what they are using for shipping service? If it goes ups it might actually go through the postal service and that can take forever .I saw they just redid (new word for the day) the store ,so i don't know if that might have anything to do with it.

I've ordered from them a couple months ago and received the wrong item. I ordered king size Dream Orient wool/bamboo blend batting and instead received a twin size of that green recycled polyester batting. I don't get to the post office very often, so it's still waiting to be returned. They no longer carry the item I ordered/paid for. They will refund me - including to cost of sending it back - but only when they receive my return package.
I've used them many times. Not the fastest shippers but the quality was always great!!
I have ordered from them but it was long enough ago that I don't remember how fast/slow they were. But my sister ordered me a 1930's jelly roll for my birthday a few years ago. They sent THREE of them! I check with sister, she paid for one only. She called. They said, oh, sorry, she can keep them, our error. So that was a good customer relations transaction!
Who are they affiliated with? I keep getting catalogs in the mail, never requested and never shopped there. I'm curious as to how they got home addy. It would have to be another place I've shopped with, as I never put address or phone number out.
They do have some nice fabrics, but I don't do kits. I didn't see enough variety in the precuts, and unfortunately Missouri Quilts who carries a lot of precuts, doesn't have the fabric.
I wanted to make another quilted yoke for a nightgown. Saw some prints daughter would love. But 1 or 2 charm packs and a 1/4 yard of fabric for binding tulip sleeves would be enough.
This isn't helpful at all to your question, but I live about 50 minutes away from Keepsake and visit there a few times every year. It is the best place to window shop! The fabrics are gorgeous and there are many quilts for sale there that are are beautiful to look at, but their prices are a little steep.
One thing I can tell you - the staff is wonderful. They are always cheerful and ready to help. I'd give them the benefit of the doubt if your order is taking longer than normal to ship.
I have ordered from them regularly and I don't think the order took long. Now when I need the items to come quickly I pick a delivery method that meets my needs.
