    Default Thread Issues

Hi ladies, I've always used Sulky Thread. What Ive noticed lately, when I'm sewing fast, my thread breaks? My sewing machine is an oldie, but goodie, it's a Viking Rose. Any suggestions as to why? Should I change the thread type for my
Machine? Btw my thread is 40wt.. When I bought my machine 17-18 years ago, the store used Sulky to teach me about the machine, this is why Ive always preferred Sulky Thread. It was cleaned and given a once over a few months ago.
Thanks you for any help, suggestions.

Have you tried other thread?? When I have thread issues I would change the needle ,check the tension , clean my machine just keep going until I found a remedy. Most of the time I wasn't sure what fixed it.

Is it just one particular spool of thread that you are having trouble with? I have had a spool or two that it just seemed that the thread was not the best quality (not up to the usual standards of the brand that I use). After checking everything and it still breaking, I just decided to use that spool of thread for hand basing - it still was not real cooperative.

I'll try and change my needle again....it's different threads spools. Hmmm, patience might help me, too

Sorry, I've never used Sulky thread for anything.
