boB, you did very good. It was a very fun day. As a matter of fact, your idea is now into a full retreat hosted by Missouri Star. :)
Well I'm home finally. It was a fun day, much too short, but well worth it to me. I needed a change of scenery. The rains slowed me down a lot, so I went to a casino in Oklahoma and then wandered around some small towns in Texas. I really had a good time getting home. But I'm glad to be back in my warm house with my shoes off. oh, I don't live in Austin. I live 100 miles south in San Antonio.
I love all the photos! Bernice, tell Bob many thanks for threading and oiling my Antonio. I named him that because he's heavy, well oiled and well it just sounds sinful to say I've been messing around with Antonio all day and night!
Thanks for Bratbear who graciously let me stay with her overnight. She's an amazing woman with a wonderful sewing room. I now have lots of ideas on how I want my own room to look. It was so much fun to get to know her better.
Sandy, you have to share your recipe for that soup. It was delicious! Thanks for taking the time to make so much for all of us. It was exactly what we needed on that cold day.
Thanks BobW for suggesting and organizing the day. It was a lot of fun.
At least she had the cord. I got to a retreat about 4 1/2 hours away from my home and discovered I had the foot pedal but no power cord. The nearest town only 30 mins away did not have one. Lucky for me my daughter in law drove and met me about half way to bring it to me otherwise one whole day would have been wasted. : (
Carol, glad that you made it home safe and sound :)
I was thinking about Carol and her drive home! Glad she waited out the storm in the casino! Have some fun instead of driving in the rain, great decision! Glad you got home safely, Carol!
