I'm not just buying fabric, I am supporting the economy...
A bad day in the sewing room is better than a good day at the office.
Man oh man......I've to figure out a way to go next time! Maybe I can fly out to Wisconsin to see mom and sister, then rent a car to Missouri......
Nice pictures. So nice to see everyone Jean, Carol, Bob, Bernice- I guess Sandy was shooting the pic. Thank you Jean for giving us a few crumbs of encouragement about the Fall Retreat. I can't wait to see the plans and get myself booked. I am so happy you had a good day and cant wait for my return trip to Hamilton.

And, didn't Morgan tell us that they have booked a Featherweight Retreat - was it August 6-7-8???????????? (This year)
Sounds tempting.
Yes, the pictures above were on my phone. I don't photograph well . . . (honestly).
Be warned. I am BORED.
This could be dangerous.
When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
They are usually 90 degrees.
A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??
The Featherweight Retreat is Aug 6 - 9, 2015. If you look under MSQC events, it is posted but tickets are not on sale yet.
Well I made it home. It was a great day with great weather and great friends. Ron represented the Doan family with his Featherweight, in between doing his regular work and stitching. Bob Kelly helped with adjustments to out Featherweights. Jenny came over for lunch and birthday cake. She told us some quilting stories. Sandy prepared a wonderful meal, even if it did have Kale in it (AKA Rabbit Food LOL). I'm posting pics that I took . . .

Karen,
It is so funny you mention that. I sat at the table next to Al and Sandy. I was up doing something, productive I'm sure (LOL) and I came back over and sat down and realized the light was out on my Featherweight. I happen to have a spare bulb, so I took the bulb out and started to replace it and looked at the bulb I took out. It didn't look burnt out, and then I realized I has seen Sandy messing with something over by the electrical plug for my machine. So I looked over and it was unplugged. So I put the original bulb back in and turned on my machine and still no light. I was working trying to get the bulb to come on, you know putting it in and taking it out a couple of times. Then it dawned on me I was plugged into a surge protector and Sandy had turned it off when she unplugged my machine.
Everyone got a good laugh out of that.
