Hi All,

Thanks for all the great ideas. I will pm you, Bubby. Bubba, the shop is in Port Charlotte, FL. I am really going to miss Linda - she has a really great shop and such nice people working there. Her manager gave me her card and said I could call her anytime because she has several Janome machines. This is the second awesome LQS in my area to close. The first one was destroyed by Hurricane Charley in 2004. The owner of that one taught me so very much about quilting - I am a self-taught quilter learning mainly from Thimbleberries books and great quilt shop owners/employees - I have never taken a class.

have a great time with your embroidery machine. I have a Viking D1 from 1999 and I've embroidered so so so many things. I feel like it is like painting with thread have fun, and congrats !! WEndy B Southern OR USA

Once you figure out how to quilt in the hoop- your life will be forever changed! you'll also be totally hooked. Have fun with Ruby!
