    Default Thread storage box

I bought this plastic thread storage box to use for my excess rolls of thread. Then I stocked up on some zippers and wondered where I was going to put them. So for now they are in the thread box and they fit really well. At least I'll know where they are when I need one. I usually put things places where I know where to find them, then can't remember where that place is.

Looks like an excellent place to store them.

Neat idea! Maybe we should all post pictures of where we put things so we can find them later!

I need a box for storing zippers and that looks perfect. I am [I]always[I] putting things in special places and losing them. I think th clear storage is brilliant.

I cut out my cornerstones for the sashing in a baby quilt before Christmas and put them in that special place. I remember seeing them during the holidays. This week I went to put the blocks together and tore my sewing room apart looking for them. Finally I just recut them. Which took about a quarter of the time I spent hunting.

This thread really speaks to me. I am organizing my sewing room and have consolidated like things together, freeing up some storage boxes. But what seemed so logical one day . . Well, you know what I am going to say next. Thankfully, I've done this before and made labels for most of the reorganized bins. So, I have been able to find everything I've looked for these last few days. I hope I continue to be so lucky. Still have a few more consolidations to go, gotta stay logical!

I'm in the process of doing that as well. I found some chalkboard labels at the dollar store. The idea is that once a project is complete it will be easy to re-label the drawer or bin. That's the idea. We'll see how it goes.
