Okay, I will say I have not been too big a fan of the Mock Cathedral Window quilts so far. You know the ones made with circles sewn together with the edges folded back. I think it has something to do with the fact that I know how much work and effort go into a real Cathedral Window. Yes, I have a half done one that will probably never get finished. Maybe I should just shoot for a bedrunner on it and call it a day. I have the same issue with the Double Wedding Ring quilts too - old school vs. the rings that bind, etc. although some of the appliqued Wedding Ring quilts are gorgeous, I still have a hard time seeing it as a real one.

BUT <-- that is a big but.

I saw this picture tonight and I'm thinking that a Mock CW might just be someplace in my future. I do really, really like this made with a 4 patch on the backside. Plus it sure makes a reversible quilt.
