Anything with dogs, trains, planes, trucks, bears, deer, and birds. Older ones like 10 and up, like outer space, wolfs, dragons.

How large are your blocks? If you are doing drunkards path, you will probably need smaller prints so they don't get chopped up.

I think a nice disappearing nine patch would be nice. You can make your squares any size you want.

I'm getting ready to make a BQ3 quilt for my youngest (he's 24). It has dragons and tigers fighting. I'm waiting on him to go to the store with me to pick out the coordinating fabric. He wants it more like a bed spread for a full size bed. So more like a queen.

Gosh, you all are making me doubt my choices when making baby quilts. I have been making them small, thinking they would be useful for a few years. We don't have huge babies in our family. And I have just been doing what I could quilt on my small throat machine. Well, I guess I will just have to make more for the kids as they grow. We have two due in March.

I made my grandson a quilt using Dr. Seuss fabric. That is the theme of his baby room. I also had some cute jungle fabric but can't remember the name of it.

For my grandson I made sailboats and a lighthouse in the center square!
For a friend I did tan and blue and she loved it for her son!
You do have a lot of choices. I hope you find what your looking for!
    Congratulations!!

Here is Cuddle (like minky) that would make a great rag quilt. I made one for a friend's baby out of color that she was using in her nursery. The nice part about using minky in a rag quilt is it is so much easier to put the quilt together than trying to put minky on the back of a quilt. Here is what it turned out like http://forum.missouriquiltco.com/mem...dle-brown.html

I have found it harder to find little boy fabric than little girl. The sock monkey blocks, I have decided to sort them out into boy fabric and girl fabric to make quilts.

I really like the Mischief line from Nancy Halvorsen. It's a very fun line that's been out for awhile, so it can be somewhat scarce, but there is lots of it on etsy.

    https://www.etsy.com/search?q=nancy+...ischief&page=1

And a little at MSQC: https://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop/browse?q=mischief

I cut up one of the growth charts to make a little boy quilt and so far it's looking great.

Little boy fabric-image.jpg My two Irish granddaughters use small quilts just fine. I call them snuggle size. On is Minkee backed with flannel, the other is a charm pack, cotton, with the same flannel backing. I put four minkee squares in the corner for her to rub her cheek on. Hope pix attaches okay, not sure.
Sorry, not very boyish, just showing a small size is usefu, too!
