    Default Peltex 70

Does anyone know if this ultra firm sew in interfacing- the Peltex 70- will keep a tote standing upright? I need to make a simple tote but I need it to not sag. I'm out of soft and stable at the moment.

I think it would be too stiff. And unfortunately, I was going to suggest Soft and Stable.

    Thanks Bubba.

Soft and stable is my go to. I was a bit bummed when I found I was out.

I use the iron in peltex in the professional tote and it is very stiff, and it is a bit hard to manipulate. If you are doing a smaller tote I think it will be too hard to use.

Ok, with both of you in agreement, I'll have to wait until I can get some S&S. Drat!

I just picked up the pattern for the professional tote. Was it difficult? I'm looking forward to trying it. Picked up the pattern for the bionic gear bag too. That one makes me a bit more nervous.

the pro tote is tedious, but has very good directions. I also use Headliner from J's. it can be found on the back wall with the utility fabrics. it is the same as S&S. Then you don't have to wait if you have to order it

I recently found some headliner in the remnant bin at J's - it was a great deal! I'm planning on trying the mini pro tote soon

I don't know about the peltex 70 keeping your tote stiff, but I'm pretty sure you could build a house with that stuff.

I used it in the bottom of the overnight bag I made, don't think I'd try to work with it in an entire tote.
