    Default Go Noah!

Just wanted to say that today's tutorial has me excited!!!! I've made several of the table runners using this method, shared by Jenny a while back.... Todays' tute is wonderful for helping to use up all those DD Jelly Rolls,,, but what Noah did with his layout is what I'm going to try... Of course, not sure when, but hoping this get put into an upcoming BLOCK magazine... Oh how I love having "hard copy" of all these wonderful ideas!!! Thanks GB

Yes I really enjoy drooling over the Block magazines. Haven't watched today's video yet. Saving the best for last.

I did not realize at first that there were two quilts until Jenny pulled the smaller one off! LOL I agree, Noah did a fantastic job.

I'm also hoping the instructions are in the next Block magazine. And I'm hoping they put the fabric requirements for Noah's quilt in there too. I wonder if he used two jelly rolls or is it pixie strips?

It said the second was done with 40 stripes plus yardage.

I do believe the second quilt took one jelly roll of 40 strips, the background yardage and one charm pack to finish off the border, according to what Jenny said.

I don't have the binding tool, but from what I gathered the long edge is 8.5", and the angle is 45 degrees - does that sound right? Also, is there any reason that the blunted corner is important for this block? Didn't seem like it was necessary and that you could just cut a regular 45 degree angle....

    I love Noah's version, it's really interesting!

Binding tool is 8.5 x 2.5 with a 45° angle. Love what Noah did, and this one is going to be a 2015 project for sure, both were lovely, but I want to make the larger one that Noah did. Awesome tut this week!
