I really like the DD Faded Splendor Patty Cake layer cake.
How would a D9P or Double Slice layer cake look?

Stunning I would think. Love that fabric. If I hadn't bought the last 3 days, I would be very tempted to get this one.

I have to stop looking at the DD - I want to buy everything. I was thinking D9P for today's DD, too. Great minds . . .
Lori, It would be stunning in the Double Slice pattern. I bought it also!
I just did a double slice layer cake top and I think today's DD would look good.
I'm partial to the Window Paned D9P that Jenny did. You could get a good neutral color for the "pane" part. And it would make the layer cake go farther.

I love the DD so much I bought it and some Neutral fabric. Was thinking of doing a D9P. ?? We'll have to give a block a try before committing all that gorgeous fabric.
It is really pretty! They seem to be coming out with a lot of fabric collections in the red/ blue with cream/ neutral lately. If I hadn't just bought the RWB batiks and have a whole box of patriotic plus a $90 kit, I'd have this one in my cart, too!
I used one of the gift cards I bought on special awhile back for today's DD. I was also thinking D9P with the focus on the reds and blues. Double slice layer cake would be nice too.
