God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.
How brilliant!!
pat.
No rain....no rainbows!

I love this...what a way to use up every piece of fabric I possess! I wish I was a point to try it!!!!!

Then I combine them with other solid strips from my stash, like for this purse:
Minimum waste as fabric is so expensive!
Thank you Annika for reminding me of this process... saw something like that a ways back,,, and I think if one has a quilt frame and machine... how wonderful it would be to just load the top, batting and backing... have the squares and other shapes ready to go and play away... stitching them on!!!! Yippee,,, another brainless idea from GB...

that's all there is to Life!"
