Default Wool felt snowflakes on flannel quilt.....

I'm looking for die cut snowflakes to put on a flannel quilt. In another thread, MillieS gave me a link to wool felt snowflakes from Shabby Fabrics: https://www.shabbyfabrics.com/Blessi...ategoryid=1447. Here's my question: are these alright to put on a flannel in regards to use/washing? I didn't want this question to get lost in the other thread. Thanks for all the help everyone!!!!!!

I don't think they would wash well.
Plus different fabrics will shrink differently
    When washed and dried.

I'm pretty sure you are not supposed to wash wool at all, so I would not do it.

If they are made for use on one of their applique quilt kits, wouldn't they expect you'd have to wash it? I would contact them and ask.
Those were the snowflakes I was looking at for my quilt.

I have some wool felt that I use for the back when needle felting. The wool felt looks similar to regular felt, but in most cases is a nicer, more even thickness or quality. I always assumed the wool felt had been washed, bonded, etc and would not shrink further, but I agree with Cathy, check with the company.

So, I checked with Shabby Fabrics about the snowflakes. Yes, they might shrink/distort because they're made with wool felt and to test one first. She said that these are really made for quilts that will be displayed and not need washing. Will check w/my lqs shop today to see if they have an accucut w/snowflake die I can use (or if they know anyone I can bribe) Thanks for the help everyone!!
