I also have a clamp on desk lamp for another machine from Staples and it's wonderful too!

I currently have one of the ikea clamp ons - JANSJÖ LED clamp spotlight - IKEA, that I will probably continue to use, but am excited about the LED strip lights. I face the windows, so at night all of the light is coming from the ceiling fan behind me - lots of shadows.

Another one you might consider is the Stella work light. Comes in a table and clamp on model. Expensive, so look for a sale. I think the light is better than an Ott. Just my opinion.
