I haven't named any of them but I have been known to call them nasty names at times!
My machines are called: The Old Machine, The Expensive Machine, The New Machine and ummm . . . no name so far. I suppose I will have to rename the New Machine since it isn't the new one anymore. Or maybe my newest could be New Machine: Episode II: Attack of the Amazon Nighttime Deals.
My old New Home is Mr. Butta' - because he sews so smooth. My Singer Featherweight 221 is Lucy. I have a Janome 6600 that remains nameless - but I use her all the time. :)
My Janome 8900 has been christened Blanche.
I have a new (since November) Juki F600 that I call Hazel. It seemed a given since the full model name is Juki Exceed HZL-F600. I have a Singer which is nameless, poor thing!
Clever names you have going on out there. I have three machines. One I keep for winding bobbins, one my grandmother got for me was I was just 10 (all metal construction), and then my mom gave me her Janome. I have never ever thought of naming them. Hmmmmm....I will have to think about this.
"Lil' B" for my newer Brother machine and "Cranky Girl" for his older sister who doesn't like me very much.
My travel machine I call "my little brother David" and my Pfaff I call Portia.
My order Kenmore is called Old Jalopy, my viking is called Louise. My daughter's Brother is called Ta Lula and her brother PE770 is called Periwinkle.
My new Janome 12000 is named Jewel; the Janome 9500 is Lola; the Janome 4000 is Maude; and my Featherweights are Lucy, Ethel & Carolyn.
