I am procrastinating big time...unfolding ..reironing and cutting down the prairie points...oh crap it is New Years eve so I will just go enjoy a glass of wine and try not to obsess...HAPPY NEW YEAR to All....Val
POINTS!, FMQ'ing and applique!!!! Already have some designs drawn up for the applique, but working hard on OWNING those points! LOL!
Less computer time - more quilt time -----starts tomorrow! Also am trying to get my frame and machine set up and working together.
My wishes:
Learn embroidery machine I've had for 8 months
OBW
Bargello quilt
My first rag quilt
And another jelly roll walk!!!
Happy new year everyone!!!
Feathers......feathers,,,,,,oh, and yes.....feathers.
I would like to make a quilt top for my family (rather than charity) and then learn to machine quilt it.
I would also like to get a plan together on what machine(s) to buy. Right now I only have an old White and even older Singer. Both are fine for basic sewing, but I'd like some of the added features (like needle down, etc).
I just can't seem to figure out what machine to get. A really expensive one that does embroidery ? Or two separate machines? I would love to eventually have one of those long arms with frame, but then which one should I get, and does that affect which sewing machine I should get? I'm really lost. Hopefully I can figure something out this year.
I'm switching over my embroidery machine to a regular one. I need to get to know her and play with the stitches. And find my dang walking foot!
