Yes, I spray baste everything from practice sandwiches and baby quilts to large queen or king sized quilts.

I guess for now I'll need some pins, eh?

Okay, they've all been claimed. Yay! My lonely pins will have new, loving homes.

Yippee! Cyndi's pins found a new home!

I do both. I love the spray baste to keep the wrinkles and puckers at bay. I have a machine with a small throat harp and have a lot of pushing and pulling to do. I have found that pins keep things from migrating. AND if I am doing a lot of intricate pieces or have to switch thread colors, I remove the pins as I go, then I know which sections I have completed.

Santa blessed me with a set of the curved pins this Christmas. I certainly think they are an improvement over just the straight version I had been using.

Thanks for sharing Cyndi! You are so sweet to think of others!

    You're so sweet Sandy!
But they found a home and will help out someone else until they fall in love with spraying!
I also pin a bit when I spray but I had enough to share with my friend who is a new quilter. She also took one of my many rotary cutters that I didn't use plus my old Kenmore machine. She is on her way to getting started and is now on quilt # 2. She's so pleased!
My friends hear the song in my heart, and sing it to me when my memory fails. 
