Today the mail came and got two gift cards from each of my brothers. Thought YAY for me, anyway, the iron I've been using is on it's last legs, it's an Oreck and it's been a wonderful iron. But you could kill someone at ten paces with it. Sooooo, knowing my luck I thought, well I'd better have a backup. Off to Wally World I go. I'm browsing around the iron section and got to talking to a a lady that just happens to be a quilter as well. Told her about M* and then she showed me the little Rival Shot of Steam iron. Thought hey, for about 10 bucks it can't be bad. She uses this one exclusively and says it wears.................well like iron, LOL! It is sooooo much lighter than the Oreck, and with my shoulder, it's a Godsend! This little jewel works like a champ, So picked up two, why not, 10 bucks @ you can't beat that! Very simple, very lightweight, good reservoir, and irons/presses/steams like a dream. Who knew?! Works perfect for my table beside my sewing machine and on the big board too!
