At the Local Quilt Shop - a special find!

The shop was having a sale on holiday material - 40% off. All other material was 20% off. They didn't have much holiday material, and more of it was for Halloween. But I did get some nice fabric.

There were four or five of us in the shop at the time, but only one shop keeper, and she was kept busy cutting fabric for us all. So while we waited, we talked. The subject of younger people and quilting came up, and I shared the story of one of the forum members and how she started quilting. At that point, the woman I was talking with said the person's name.....and.....we knew......we were both members of this forum, meeting for the first time.

I met jazzle25! How cool is that? We exchanged information and will definitely be meeting again. The awesomeness of the quilting community surfaces again.

How cool and love the fabrics you bought!
Even more funny, where I work we sell the presents fabric you bought I don't know, I always find it funny when I see something that arrives in our shop in your pics! It's like... cutting the distance
