Default My granddaughter cut better in kindergarten

Tonight, I went into my sewing area to sew a bit and then I decided to fold up the fabric I recently received from my second and LAST order from fabric.com. First I took apart the pieces they sent me for my order of 5 yards which they only sent 4.5. One of the pieces says jackpot, you got the end of bolt. Is this a joke. If they were unable to give me 5 yards straight would not all of the pieces be end of bolt. Ugh. I would have them take them back except I do not want to deal with them another second of my life. Then to top it off, I go to fold another 5 yards that came in one piece and you can see in the pic how they cut it. Are they not embarrassed to send things this way. Where is their pride.

I know I have been complaining about fabric.com a bit. I promise that I will try to make this my last post about them. It is such a shame. Prices are good, fabric is good. I talked to my daughter and the 1.49 fabrics she ordered is are all on backorder. She will never see it. Their fabric is all 1.99 and up now.

    Ok bah humbug fabric.com
    Over and out.

Happy quilting. Thank you for listening to my rants and raves.

Wow. The only time I have seen anything with that ragged of a cut, it came at the end of a bolt and was also horribly wrinkled up. I got that last few inches for free! I gave the gal at the cutting table the 'eye' when she started to count it in the measurement. My comment of "If you are going to charge me for that, you can trim it off where the wrinkles start." probably helped convince her that no one was going to want that. She didn't want to make another cut or write a remnant slip!

Sorry that you have gotten such crap service from them. I had good dealings with them when I purchased several years ago, but we all know how things can change. There are plenty of places to shop online besides them.

I have been watching your story and it's okay to rant. I would be pissed too. I have never ordered from them . I like the Fabric shack and order from shops on Etsy.

    Happy quilting too

That's terrible and so frustrating! I'd send a letter and your photos. They should refund you.

Thanks for your post. I was going to order some fabric from them....but may rethink that now.

i have always had good luck with them so it is unfortunate that you have not. I agree that you should send a letter and photo and if you can leave a review online with pictures. This may be the case of a new or disgruntled employee and if this it not brought to their attention they cannot fix it. You would think that they would be able to determined who prepared this order.

Hope you find an alternate fabrics source.

Yikes that is disappointing. I've heard good things about that company. Maybe it's a fluke? Some pissy employee? I'd write the co too with that pic.

I don't like the way they did you and you have the right to be unhappy. I quit doing business with them a year or so ago when their computer records were hacked and our card was used illegally. They sent letters out to their customers but I haven't felt comfortable doing business with them since then.

Rant away. I'm not a fan of Fabric.com and haven't been for awhile. I didn't have your level of problems though, and wow... I've seen some poor cutting in my time.... I have no words.

Wow, how annoying! I ordered from them just once and was happy with the fabric, the service, and the price.
