    I love that foot.

    Another good book is the The Foot Book - I got it from my Pfaff dealer but I also saw it at the Viking dealer too.

    My (now traded in) Singer had one. I tried it, but I think it needs practice as it was all I could do to keep that little pointer thingy exactly in the "ditch". I did better without it but then again, I don't like SITD much anyway and will just stitch1/4 away on each side. My new Brother has one.. I will give it a try and see if it is any different. Let us know how you did with it!

    This is the foot I use to sew binding on. I put that guide next to the fold and the needle positioned a little to the right of the fold and stitch it down. Keeping the fold next to the guide gives a nice even stitch from the edge.
