I hosted a table runner swap for a wonderful group of ladies. we had a few mishaps and one or two dropped out after the list was made, and it was a bit confusing, but all in all, I think we had fun.

lesson learned: Let someone else host it.

Swaps can be a handful, it is a big undertaking and takes a lot more time than some expect. I am sorry it was so much trouble for you. Have a Merry Christmas in your new home!

I feel your pain. If everything goes well it is wonderful , but all it takes is one to not care and not make or send to make for hurt feelings. I love the swaps but lack the patience to host one. But for those of you that do I love you

I feel your pain too. I hosted one too early on after I was here. It was a chore PM'ing people. But I have since learned some lessons from other leaders to drop people on dead lines without having to do that. If you can't check in you don't don't deserive the attention of even a pm. It's nice that you tried

I like participating in swaps, this is the first one I have been burned on. That said I will still join, but will be more picky.
