What a haul-congrats on the great buy!!!

I've used that Soft and Crafty batting before. Mine was an 80/20 blend and I was pretty happy with it. My quilts are a little lighter weight with it than Warm and White, but for here that is just fine.
Count your blessings on your garage sale/craig's list finds where you are. The ones listed out here are scary bad and over priced.

Well Doloris, at 0.2525252525 per yard, I'd say you got the haul of the year! WOW! LOL!
Re: the tally is in, sort of
I'm moving in with Dolores!
Re: the tally is in, sort of
Wow oh wow! Wish I could find those same kind of deals! Guess I need to start watching Craig's list, huh? Can't wait to see what you create!

I am so envious of the wonderful deals I see that people have found. Anytime I think to look at adds I find listings 70+ miles away and the price is almost full QS quality price. It is just crazy.
Re: the tally is in, sort of
I look at them often, but have found only one in the near vicinity. I did manage to get a lot of fabric for next to nothing and the Brother Scan & Cut for my sister for $200. I didn't think that was bad.

Sounds like you hit the mother load!!!! Can't wait to see what great things you create.

I wish I could find those deals.
Re: the tally is in, sort of
just about all of this fabric is kid prints. I am going to use it for making the blankets I donate to the children's hospital near me. I think when I told her what I wanted it for was the reason she gave it to me so cheap. Also she is planning to move and just decided to start cleaning out. I always have a hard time finding kids prints when I go to garage sales and such. This should be enough with what I have to make enough blankets for all of 2015

Holy cow!! You did good. Have fun using the stash--but where do you store it all?!! My DH would have a fit, regardless of how much money I saved. I think he's getting a little suspicious of my saying "but it was on sale!"

I have a bedroom as a sewing room. I am going to stuff the cotton and flannel into the closet, but the fleece will have to remain in a tub in the basement until I use what I have up here already.
And as for DH, he asked why I didn't get more at that price. :)
