What a marvelous topic to begin digesting... it is "resolution time", in just a couple weeks! And I know with no goals, I am haphazard... always creating/sewing, but maybe not getting things done that I really would like to.

So... like so many of you, I need to get things done for myself and my home. One would never know a sewing/quilter/crafter lived here! I have been crafting and sewing for over 50 years - started as a wee girl! - and I really want my home to show it!! So, quilts, quilts, and more quilts to adorn every room of our home; beautiful table runners; cute kitchen hot pads, aprons, embroidered towels, etc.; pillow on chairs and couches; wall hangings, and whatever else I can think of to make our house a home! I will continue helping others learn to sew and quilt, and continue with our local charity. This "hobby" isn't just a hobby to me; it's what I do - what consumes my time, talents, and energy. I enjoy sharing it with others, whether by teaching or the giving of projects. I never want that to change. Just think it's about time I gave to my own home and husband (since we are empty nesters!), along with everyone else. I want us to enjoy some of the fruits of my labor!

Oh, and I so agree with everyone who commented on cutting into some of that beautiful fabric sitting on our shelves... I have some Robert Kaufman with gold metallic that is calling my name! There's no time like the present, and I want to be very focused and intentional on how I use my time in 2015.

Best wishes to all, and all our resolutions!!
