I like to keep tabs on how many quilts I make each year, it's just a fun thing I like to do. This year I was able to make 37 quilts/projects. Most were small charity quilts so they didn't take long to make. It's nice to see from year to year your personal accomplishment
How many quilts/projects have you made this year? I think you'll be surprised at how many. : )
I think I've done 27 so far. Two of the quilts were king size and 2 were queen. The others were lap, baby, tote bags and table runners. I have 2 table runners and 2 baby quilts to finish.
I'm impressed by you both. I am slow, as I only sew when the mood strikes me. I'd be surprised if I've completed more than a half dozen projects. I have started a few more and have many UFO's.
Hmmm, I'll have to think about it and get back to you. A few for sure.
According to my 2014 album 26 so far. Still have 6 I want to finish before Christmas.
I am impressed ladies, what's wrong with me, only one quilt finished, 2 started, 1 table runner, 2 totes, I plan on next year as my big quilting year.
Wow ... I'm impressed y'all have done so many! This is my first full year of quilting - I've done about 20 quilts - half of them baby and/or rag quilts as gifts, that were easy, fast, and quilted on my machine. Of the remaining 10, I've long-arm quilted (completed) 5, and I have about 5 quilt tops that need finishing.
I surprised myself, actually - had no idea I accomplished so much in a year!
It was 11 last year, 14 so far this year. Looks like I can take that tally up to 16 by the end of the year. Sorry, my day job gets in the way of my quilting!!!

I think I have made 9 quilts this year. I am impressed by everyone too! I have really slowed down this year due to health issues.
I made 11 quilts this year.You're right it was more than I expected.
I have hand-pieced 5 full-size tops this year, and am hand-quilting the second one. Guess I have to stick with quality rather than quantity. And I don't use pre-cuts, so I spend time cutting as well.
Nowhere near what you ladies have done but I've enjoyed making and giving every one. Next year I hope to make (finish) a few for myself.
12 donation quilts, 1 stadium quilt, and 1 lap quilt completed. Some quilt tops made but not quilted yet.
I have done 15 projects. 12 of those were quilts. Got desperate and did a hole bunch for Christmas.
I do believe I had better start keeping track of things . . . I am so bad about doing that.
Have no clue, LOL! Maybe I'd better start keeping track, all I know is how much fun I'm having!

Well, this thread got me started counting. I was on a roll with Irish chains in spring, did 5 of them. Two need finishing, one just binding and one bordering, quilting and binding. I made 2 X and O, one is a UFO, MADE 12 quilts for the forum retreat, 4 for the spring PICU delivery, 1 great grand baby D9P quilt that spawned ( haha,!) two more for my tutorial on D9P, plus quilt, 2 tea Cup quilts, one is just blocks right now, 1 Dresden coin (UFO), the Grinch monster, 1 king size JRR for the tutorial I did, but it is not quilted yet, 1 JRR3, 4 JRR2, which I am working on quilting two of them this weekend, found one more D9P in the UFO box. I made about 40 pillowcases, 24 to give to Cyber Elves and PUCU, others to go with quilts. Played around with the Disappearing pinwheel concept, hence more UFOs, also the exploding block, another UFO.
GOSH, THIS IS GETTING TO BE LIKE A CONFESSIONAL!
Let's just say, I spend a lot of my retiree time and definitely my money on quilting and sewing! It brings me great joy to create and it is what I envisioned retirement to be. Thanks for asking about this!

I've made 11 quilts, including two king-size, three JRR,, three lap, and three baby quilts. Have also made many table runners and lots of small projects. I'm done for the year as surgery a few weeks ago stopped my quilting for now. It hasn't stopped my on-line shopping, though, so will have lots of fabric waiting when I have recovered!
My finishes for 2014 include: Double Slice (Queen) from the Birchbark Lodge line; New Circles from the Zoe line; Luna Notte II (Queen) plus pillowcases and shams for DD from the Luna Notte line; You've Got Mail (Queen) from Josephine by French General and a Plus Sign quilt from miscellaneous charm packs and stash. I also made four little quilts for the Bereavement Group; 36 pillowcases and pillow covers for my DD's new business; multiple table runners; a mini tumbler table runner and about six chicken pincushions. I also have an Illusions quilt top ready to go to the quilter first thing in 2015.
That's more than I thought. Actually it's pretty good considering my ups and downs healthwise this year. I'm looking forward to a good 2015.
Only counting quilts I've finished and not quilt tops, I count 13. If I count the tops it's more like 20. I need to be more productive! Most of them were wall hangings or charity baby quilts. What am I doing with my time? Oh, yeah. Taking care of grandkids!
I would rather not talk about it :icon_rolleyes: ........let's just say waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay less than it should have been. :D
