Default Not quilting, but cross stitch...

Does anyone have a favorite software available for Mac that they like to use to convert pictures to cross stitch patterns? Or an online site that does a good job?

My sister is looking for a unique present for her MIL who loves to cross stitch. Thought she might like to convert some of their vacation pictures into cross stitch patterns.

Hoping someone else has ran into this before.

I have a friend with the software, and I have seen it for sale. I think Keepsake Quilting carries it.

Do you know the name of it? The only software I see on Keepsake Quilting is EQ7.

The one I have had great success with is called PCStitch. Allows you to even take photos and turn them into cross stitch patterns.

Here's the link: PCStitch: Premier Cross Stitch Software

Thanks Sandy, that looks like just what we need and a good price. Unfortunately, it looks to be windows only and they have a mac. I guess I should check to see if they do the dual platform on their mac.
