I would like to make this as a wall hanging but think I will make the sashing just a little wider to make the spools stand out more and look more like spools. Thanks for another great one Jenny!!

Isn't this just the cutest quilt. I love it. Now I need to get off the computer, start sewing so I can add it to my list. I will never finish my "I wanna do it list".

I could be wrong but when you sew (4) 2 1/2 inch strips together with 1/4 inch seams, shouldn't your piece measure 8 1/2 inches and not 8 inches? It looks like her side pieces are short when she cut them at 8 inches.

I thought that too when I watched it. Jenny does often say she does a "fat" quarter inch and she said measure before you cut, but it did look like she cut short. Don't know how she always makes it come out right. Maybe it's the magic of editing!

I'm loving this new tutorial and I want to make it from my stash without buying any additional fabric. It will be interesting to see what I can come up with.

What a great idea, now I just have to get a bed for my sewing room so I can take quick naps when tuckered out.

UGH!!! I REALLY need to stop watching her tutorials...... they keep making my "To Do" list longer!!! Lol.

Really loving this one and am thinking of using the block to make a wall-hanging for my sewing room. I'm moving my room from the upstairs, small bedroom to the downstairs, much larger master bedroom the week between Christmas and New Years as I'm off work. I can't wait!!! I'm bursting at the seams in my current room and desperately need to move. I'm going to need some decorations for the room once I'm all moved in....

Shhhhh don't tell them I take naps in there! It does have a bed for guest but the rest of the time it is everything from a design wall to a restful spot!
