how to check the balance on gift cards

i purchased the $50 gift cards and used one tonight,, it was a 7.50 purchase with the shipping, how can i check the bal. of the gift card

I don't know if there is a way.I did a similar thing one night and now I have no idea how much is left on the gc.

I know that after you use a gift card, if you haven't used the entire thing, the site gives you a balance, I just wrote the number down on the card.

Just did a test procedure--
I placed a fake order of the daily deal put my card number in and it gave me the balance before I pushed the button to purchase. Backed out of the order by using the back button. Now I know for sure! Just add the two numbers together.

Ones I have used...call the phone number on the back and an automated thing comes on and you input the card number and they can tell you how much is left. If at a store...they will tell you (you have to ask) how much is left.
