My Quilt and So Far So Good
Well, yesterday I started to stitch my squares in a row!! Yippy for me!! Since I am learning the sewing machine and quilting as well I thought I'd get myself totally frustrated. But, lo and behold I am a happy camper :icon_happy:
I didn't sew them in the exact order I laid them out in but it all seemed to come together. I stitched and pressed and today I will sew more rows together and soon I will be able to add the batting. So far, I haven't found a backing and binding that I truly like but I am sure I will.

Thanks MomGram, I am very excited to show off my quilt. Christmas has me a little behind with all the shopping for the grandkids.

I found a nice backing for another quilt I have in mind lol.. I'm already thinking of the second one I want to make. Thanks for the encouragement.

I am HOOKED!! I never thought I would have so many designs in my head rolling around screaming to get out. Thanks for the comment and yes it is a lovely feeling.
