Default Acid free cardboard on precuts?

Does anyone know if the paper and cardboard that precuts are packaged with is acid free? If not, how long is it safe to store it in its original packaging?

I don't know if the cardboard is acid free,,, my guess is that it is just regular cardboard. I know you're supposed to use acid free paper & cardboard to store fabric long term, but I've had fabric for many years stored in regular card board boxes without any problems. Others may have different experiences.
How long are you planning to store the precuts?

Not sure how many years it will take to work through my ever-growing stash.

I hear you!! LOL. But honestly I wouldn't worry too much about it. I really think it would take many years for it to be a problem
