Ok, Ok, Ok.... I'm officially DONE!

Being a little excited about my new embroidery machine and realizing I had given all my supplies (thread, stabilizer, etc) to my mom years ago when I decided to store my old, uncooperating machine in a closet, that I have nothing to use now. Lol.

Yesterday at Joanns I got stuff to make myself an embroidered wall hanging for my craft room, as well as stuff to do a door decoration for Christmas. I also placed and order on Amazon that arrived today with stabilizer and a set of 100 spools (550 yds) of thread. That is PLENTY to get me started again. Told myself I'm done shopping until January at least.

Wwwweeeellllll.... That was until this evening. I got an email from a company called ThreadArt that I've purchaed from in the past that it was a "last call" on their Black Friday sale. Checked it out and..... I ended up ordering their 120 spool (1100 yds) starter kit that came with stabilizer and bobbin thread. Normally $250, on sale for $119, PLUS a 15% off coupon plus free ground shipping!!! $106 out the door!

I guess I'd better get "Pearl" all setup and figure out how to use her.... I got lots of embroidering to do!! Lol

Anyone want to take a guess at who isn't going to have a single thing from Santa under her tree this year?

I know it may sound strange, but there usually isn't for us. Hubby and I buy something for the house as our gift to each other (this year it was a new TV for the living room we got a couple of weeks ago). My family does a "Secret Santa" now where you only have to buy for one person (one store-bought gift <$100 and one handmade gift). My in-laws have been hurting financially for the past two years due to my MIL not working due to cancer and my FIL retired about 5 years ago, so we buy for them... But won't let them buy for us. They need it more than we do!

I know it may sound like we take the "fun" out of the season, but we enjoy buying for others more than we enjoy receiving. I've got a list of stuff that if Santa wanted to get me something... He would have plenty to choose from (mainly household items and clothes). The only people who buy me crafty goodies are my parents and Hubby... Both of which wouldn't be getting me anything anyways.

No problem!! Glad to share . I've used their thread before in the past and it has worked really well! Their "starter kit" is a great deal at less than $0.80 a spool... And that's not even factoring in the bobbin threads and stabilizer! When I first started out years ago, I only bought Sulky from Joanns.... But it is EXPENSIVE at $5 a spool on sale! I got referred to this site by a gal who used have a booth at a craft show I used to exhibit at.

I was so torn between just the kit and the kit with the rack. I really don't have the room for the big rack, so I opted for just the kit... But it would have been nice
