Houstoun, we have a problem!

I do not know way but I just do not like the blocks together. Is it the print ( the small print give me migrains)
or is it not enough veraity of fabrics and colors ?

When I finaly figure out how to make the darn block without special rulers, I do not like them!

Hm... what to do ?

I think your blocks are beautiful! I think maybe mix them with some solid patches to break it up so your gorgeous blocks don't run together and are showcased.

I like the stars. This kind of fabric isn't my favorite, but if I know you, you'll figure out a way for me to change my mind about it! Just keep working on it!

Love it with the sashing in there, Annika. But, I love it without the sashing, too. Sometimes, I think, we just have to persevere and keep stitching away before our masterpiece is born.

try a dark blue sashing. That might make your blocks pop better, and then maybe try only using the stars, or only the hour glass. For me, I think it is the hour glass that is throwing things off.

Well, I do like it! But with the hourglass blocks, maybe you would like them more if the light quarter square triangles and the rectangles around them were different in value? With very similar fabrics in the middle of the block & at the edges, you might not be getting the definition you want!
