I'm not really sure what he means "in the old days" when our machines were mechanical instead of computerized. To me I would be worried more now about the magnet pin holders around our newer computerized machines then the older mechanical ones. But even some of the newer computerized embroidery machines have embroidery hoops with magnets on them. So I guess I'm just confused.........
