I e-m'd my Viking dealer. He also sells Pfaff & Baby Lock. I specifically asked about this concern that was mentioned in an earlier thread. His response is: "In the 'old days' it could have been an issue, however, it is not an issue now." I think people can rest easy about using their magnetic pin holders. JCY
