Is it a place for you to grow as a quilter, a person, or a place to find friends who share in your passion?

You said it all in that one sentence. As others said, I could live without it. But I do not want to. It is now a part of my day, everyday. And these are not just friends who share in my same passion, we share much more with each other. Support in our lives with whatever we have going on.

I expect to be here for a very long time.

Thank you for having us as part of your project.

I joined the forum in the spring of 2014. I have quilted off and on over the years just bits and pieces, purses and jackets but never a quilt. After watching Jenny's tut's I became focused on doing quilting on a larger size. All the fabric I had collected over the years finally had a purpose. I can't wait to see what Jenny is up to every day and look forward to reading the forum to find the many questions I have had but didn't know who to ask. Everyone treats you like family and there is no such thing as a dumb question. Everyone has made life so much more interesting for me and I could not imagine MSQ and the forum not being here. Thank you everyone for all the enjoyment you have given me this year. Hope there are many more to come.

I sometimes get a new idea for a quilt. That makes me happy.

I joined in Jan 2013. Wow almost 2 years ago, how time flies. I love it here and everyone is so nice and helpful. If you have a question about a pattern, a block, a tool , a part of your project gives you trouble, you can ask here and have many replies in a short time to choose from. I get to learn new things , meet new people who share my passion and learn about people from all over the world.

I really can not envision my life without M* and this forum. It has enriched my life enormously. These amazing people have helped me to attain a goal, that far exceeded my original idea. I am referring to the PICU quilts. With help from these lovely people, I have delivered over 300 quilts to the PICU at the hospital that saved my grand sons life. For that I will be eternally grateful. I have met and made some amazing friends. Live without it? I guess I could, but it would be a mournful process.

I love coming to this forum and seeing all the beautiful quilts and projects that everyone shares. This is a place where I have learned so much from the guys and gals here on quilting, sewing and sometimes just life in general. I wouldn't want to be without it.

I wouldn't want to think of a day without the forum! Up until I retired I could rarely visit during the week and always felt I was missing out on so much quilting friendship and advice. Once I retired I decided to devote my morning to learning from the others here. What I didn't expect was the friendship and support I saw for each other. I assumed all of these folks were strangers! But they are so welcoming to each other, a newcomer feels welcome right away!
    And that's special!!

I visit the forum nearly every day. Sometimes I just read, sometimes I reply, sometimes I have a question. Every day I learn something new from these wonderful quilters. I have always felt welcome and accepted. This is a positive part of my day and I thank all of the forum members for who they are and what they contribute each day. I would be heart broken if it didn't exist. Hugs to all!
