I never thought much about that until the past few years... when my kids are beginning to find things I've made and say "they'd never part with them... "because "Mum made them".. and that's a lot of stuff!!!! You go girl...
And now you have inspired me to promise myself that after the new year,, I will drag down the funky calico "yo yo" quilt I started (no kidding),,well over 10yrs ago... and always told my DD that this was going to be a Lifelong project,, and when I'm gone,, it will remind her of me... (she laughed at the time),,, but now will get it.. she's 43!!
