Quilt Show
I'm very excited. Tomorrow we are heading up to the New England Air Museum in CT for the Flights of Fantasies Quilt Show. Perfect combo - quilts for me - airplanes for hubby.
I had heard about it last year but we didn't get to go but decided we would go this year. There is going to be an exhibit of WWI quilts. I think it's going to be a great day out for the two of us.

Re: Quilt Show
Sounds like it will be a fun day Ginny! I just saw a link on Facebook advertising a quilt show at a nice greenhouse near me. I'm trying to talk my daughter into going with me!

OH, thanks for reminding me. I need to make sure my camera is charged. Going to go do that now. If they allow it, I will definitely take pictures.

Ginny, sounds like a great day. We were there a few years ago ( no quilt show
when we were there ) It's a great museum, a little off the beaten track. Stationarymom it' s in Windsor Locks.

Re: Quilt Show
We have so few quiltshows in this part of the country. I try to drive to those close enough for the trip. Lots of inspiration at those. we have some kind of Folk Life quilt workshop in Montgomery at the end of next week. I am going to check it out and try to go. Have a gamma knife procedure on Monday so I will have to see how I feel first.

Re: Quilt Show
I had a terrific time today! Jackie Kunkel was there (CTQuiltworks) and I got there just in time for a trunk show by Michele Muska. Marie Bostwick was also there -- she had made one of the quilts for Michele's new book.
Sue Reich had a display of World War I quilts. It was amazing to me to look at those quilts and realize they are almost 100 years old.
I did get some pictures and will upload them tomorrow.
