Default I Was A Good Girl (I Think...)

Gosh... As soon as I saw that email this morning about the Birthday Sale... I got so excited! Within minutes I had a cart reaching the $200 mark in no time! I putzed around on it all day, even got Hubby's blessing to order because 80% of it was stuff for gifts. I finally went to hit the "Submit" button but then backed out. I realized I have enough stuff to last a lifetime already and there will be other sales. I deleted my cart and walked away .

I REALLY wanted the stuff, but just couldn't do it. I really hope I don't regret it and either change my mind and order the stuff later tonight (if it's still available) or be kicking myself in the butt tomorrow for chickening out.

I just keep telling myself... I must not buy until I finish projects.

I'm with you, Rosie. I have so much fabric now and several UFOs. I NEED to finish what I've started before I even think of buying something else. Plus, I've placed 2 orders this month already...

Stay strong Jess! I was on a fabric diet for almost 3 months until the local quilt show. I found that I am not as quick to hit the order button anymore after that. I will admit to ordering today but ordered a lot less that I would have before my "diet".

I am broke as broke. If they had just waited till Friday, it'd be a different story. Anyway, I wasn't able to buy anything, BUT, I visited my mother and she bought a ton of stuff for a quilt she wants me to make. So I get to have the calendar and I asked her to throw in the DD for me. So basically, I was living vicariously through her. It was almost as satisfying.

I saw that at their RL stores they have thousands of FQ on sale for a dollar. I have got to get there next year. I need to start working on my husband now!!! FQ for a dollar! If I spent a few hundred dollars, I would have enough fabric for a year.

No regrets here, I did the same thing. Right now I still have fabric for at least 7-8 BIG PROJECTS. I have come to realize that there will always be another sale and another fabric I can't live without. but it's still fun to window shop

I was sorely tempted too. But like you, Jess/Rosie, I have fabric for at least four projects that I haven't even started yet! I really think it will be best for me to finish some of them & see what I'm interested in working on then, not now. But it was one of those blue days & a little fabric retail therapy was so appealing. So I have had to be very, very good to resist this sale.

Nothing for me either! I have been just window shopping since last week! It is really hard with all this gorgeous fabric that has been coming out lately!!!

So proud of you girls. I was tempted too,but then I have enough and plenty of UFO's , Truthfully, what really cinched it for me is my machine is downso I might not have been so smug . I don't when it will be fixed, I have another one in the basement, a nice little portable but I do think something is wrong with that one also. I was going to ask Santa for a new one this year. Have to see if he has room on his sled.

I put the DD in my cart this morning but got busy away from the house and it sold out. I often put the DD in my cart, then wait to decide to order. Many times I don't finish the order. I ran an errand for DH today that took me to the nearest town with a Joann's so I used my coupon and VIP card to buy top-stitch needles and glass-headed pins...two items I really did need.
