I, for once, also behaved. I put the batik layer cake in my shopping basket last night and lo and behold, it was sold out this morning!!! Like I needed it anyway. I have enough jelly rolls, and almost enough layer cakes to last three people a lifetime!

Proud of you Rosie! I too had a bunch of items in my cart.
Then I thought, "how much more do you need, and why don't you
use up what you have?" (a lot!), so I too, deleted my items.
    Tempting........

Good for you, Rosie, it really is so tempting - I do great for a while - then I see something I just cannot live with out and I hit the "buy" button. Right now I am trying to clean up my sewing room and I have so much fabric - its crazy - I am still waiting for a couple of orders I placed in the last week - Ugh!!! its so hard sometimes - I just wish I had more hands so I could work on multiple projects at once. I also keep telling myself that another good deal will come along - I don't have to buy everything all at once. It sounds like you already have projects planned so at least you can keep busy. I am already thinking that I will be behind for Christmas if I don't start soon.

I also am trying to finish projects that I have planned and have fabric for. Only once in awhile I pick up something, mostly to add onto these projects. Its a tough battle.

I am proud of myself for resisting this time. I am happy for everyone who got the good deals.

Rosie, and other, I totally agree. I have plenty and there will be plenty for,us to buy later. And I figure lots,of thing will come that we will really love and be happy we have not purchased in a while. The only thing I get now is yardage on the big sales with Fat Quarter Shop. I wish Missouri Star would do yardage in their sales. But I do get it, they are more about te precuts. I need yardage to go with all my precuts and for borders and backing. I do like the prices they have on their solids so I might pick up the dauly deal once in a while and grab yardage at the same time. Those purchases will be few though.

I've been looking at the Stonehenge Everest for a while so I did the dastardly deed. :-)

No regrets here, as well. I have so many projects planned and feature fabrics purchased. I put a stop to all new project purchases because I will still need to get batting and backing fabrics for some of my projects. Until I get more caught up with my big plans, I need to just stop the madness. Of course it didn't stop me from browsing the birthday sale items....

If I'd had time to order, I would have bought the rotary cutting blades. But I was under a time crunch this a.m. to get somewhere. By the time I got home it was sold out. Sometimes Hancock's has the blades on sale for 50% off. I'm not out yet. I probably have more fabric than I'll ever use in my lifetime, so I really shouldn't be buying any more. There's a quilt show this Fri. I'll try to be self-disciplined! JCY

Well, I tried to resist but got the flannel layer cake and the Alpine layer cake to make my hubby's quilt bigger. I also grabbed a few tea towels, for aprons and some twill tape for pennants!
Waited all day with it in the cart....pushed checkout, hubby said I am on a fabric restriction till the end of the year!!!

I am sure I can sneak a little past if I "need" some!
