    Default Change my machine

    Hi

This weekend I changed my machine. I have always done fmq on my little white singer that is very tiny.
Therefore it is a very hard work to do fmq.

THis weekend I tried my black singer that has a bit wider throat space.

It is still hard work but it is much easier than the white machine.

So now I will keep fmq ing on my black machine. This means that I can make a bit bigger quilts!

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Good for You!! Any little change that helps get the quilting done... I'm a Singer fan, too!! I have 4 of them plus a serger. (one is an antique peddle power)

My black and white Singers FMQ very well. And the extension table that's built in helps a lot! I'm taking my Singer One plus to the retreat, hopefully there will be no problems with FMQing on that one, I've only used my 160 ( black) so far.
