Default sewing question....has anyone sewn the outdoor type fabric?

I found some outdoor fabric at JoAnn's 60% off!!! I decided to buy it to re-do my lawn furniture. I didn't know that I needed outdoor thread too. I am going to try and sew with my Brother SE400. I contacted Brother support and they seem to think I can do it but that I might need different bobbin thread. Anyone have any insight regarding this? Thanks

I have sewed it with a brother cs6000i and had no problems at all. I did use the outdoor thread in bobbin and top. I don't remember what needle I used, whatever was in the machine at the time.

I really hate it when the voices in my head argue among themselves as though I wasn't even in the room.

I tried to be normal once......worst two minutes of my life.

Some of the smaller more inexpensive machines sew through thick fabric better than the fussy fancy machines do! I have a $90 Janome that I upholstered with, going through layers of upholstery fabric without a complaint and no needles broken. I would use some kind of Poly thread to resist rotting in the sun or rain.
