    Default Iron on too Big

I am making a memorial quilt for my baby niece that passed. I sent pictures and this poem out to be printed on iron transfer paper. Everything was supposed to be sized down to fit on my 5" squares. This one is too close to the bottom & top. How do you suggest I sew it? This ones really important I don't cut anything off. (In case anyone is curious. This is a poem my brother and his wife, (nieces parents) put to music and sang at her funeral)

Can you put it on a large piece and then frame it out with sashing so it covers 10 inches - center it in the quilt?

    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

That is a beautiful rewrite of a beautiful song. Having lost an infant, myself, I am tender hearted towards others who have endured such a loss. As for your your question, could you apply heat and bond light to the back, iron it onto a stitched in block, and do a very skinny zig-zag to secure?

I don't know what quilt pattern you are using, so this may not be an option; but could you divide it into two sections (3 verses each) and put it on two blocks instead of one? Or (and this may make more sense) - divide it into 3 sections so that each has a verse and a chorus, and put it on 3 blocks...

Sadly I did the dumb thing and ironed it on then went, huh, I should have put that on a bigger piece of fabric. I am surrounding each block with pieces of her clothes. I also have other pictures and squares the funeral guests signed. So I think it needs to be on one section. I'll try sticking it onto another bigger piece and zigzag it. If it fails I'll just have to get it reprinted which is totally an option if I wasn't so impatient - lol
