You're not a 'newbie'... you're a "Genius"!!! How clever... Bet it looks great, and what a fantastic coverup! I always say there are no mistakes - just opportunities to show your creative artistic skills! We're artists, and if anything goes 'awry', it's just another opportunity! And besides... as one of my students told me when she was making 'mistakes', "oh well, it's Amish!" I had to ask what she meant, and she said the Amish have a saying (and must make sure they have at least one mistake in each of their quilts) that "only God is perfect"... so their quilts MUST reflect at least one mistake! I kinda' liked that reasoning...
