Don't stress over it..... I really can't use the binding tool.... I screw it up every time....

Watch Jenny's titorisl.... The Ultimate Binding Tutorial.... This method WORKS. You'll love it....

The binding tool makes a great template for a braided quilt.... But that's it....at least for me...

BTW,,, your solution was clever..... Just let the recipient believe thst' show you planned it..... We all do that.... You just have to forbid yourself not to point out your mistakes......
