Personally, I don't like the binding tool. I've made more mistakes with it than I care to count. It's useless to me. I don't want to have to watch a video every time I use it! I know it won't help right now, but keep these videos in mind for next time. There are quite a few easy methods of joining the binding with no tools and little measuring.

I've been using the first method on the last few quilts I've made and love it! It's perfect every time.
I watched the video for the second method...twice....and I love how it comes out perfect, but I'm confused at how it works with no measuring....
